The Pit-Crew: Putting you in the winners’ circle
After working in the environmental clean-up business for a dozen years, Travis Whittle recognized that car washes were getting the short end of the shovel, when it came to waste removal and disposal. All of the processes to remove and dispose of waste were designed for other types of controlled debris, like septic tanks, grease traps, oil water separators and even hospital waste, making them not particularly efficient or affordable for car washes. Even more importantly, they weren’t always safe for the environment.
In 1998, Travis founded The Pit-Crew to give car wash owners a more efficient, economical and environmentally safe option for debris removal and disposal. We’re the only company on the East Coast that cleans only car washes. All of our technicians are trained for it and our equipment engineered for it. Plus, we are innovators (see box on right side of page). The Pit-Crew is continually searching for better, more affordable ways to clean your pits and tanks.
